Far Cry 5 Co-op not working? Far Cry 5 So whenever I try to join my brother's game from an invite, either nothing happens or it gives me an error. We simply can't play co-op and it's very disappointing. We've tried restarting the game multiple times and other things. Is there any solution? And finally, last step, I configured steam, ubisoft conect and farcry5 to run as administrator, flush dns and disconect the router 15seconds. After the last step i could play coop. The errors we keep getting when trying to join each other are Snowshoe and Bookworm with varying numbers. I think Trapper showed up once.
Far Cry 5 uses a 'drop-in drop-out' co-op system. So, you invite or join players when you're already in the game. It makes for a more fluid system as your friends can join or leave as they like — depending on your settings.
